Peggy Wilson, MA, LPC, LAT
I grew up in North Georgia and Middle Tennessee. I value my southern roots and love going back to visit when I can. However, I have proudly called Wyoming home for more than twenty years and love being here.
Experience:
My journey to private practice has taken a few turns, but every step of the way I have been guided by one common thread...a passion for helping and serving others. Over the years, I've worked as a Realtor, a Licensed Massage Therapist, an emergency room Registration Clerk, a Workforce Specialist for the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, the Systems Manager and Accreditation Coordinator for Wyoming Vital Statistics, and a variety of therapeutic settings focused on helping people work through mental health and addiction struggles.
My years of varied experience gives me a unique abilty to understand client's struggles from multiple angles and presentations. I work with adults from age eighteen through those in later stages of life. I think outside the box and strive to get a complete picture of each client’s concerns, so that I can help them work toward achieving their goals. I have worked with individuals from all walks of life and plan to continue for many years to come.
I spend what spare time I have reading, listening to podcasts, continuing my professional education, hanging out with my pets, and enjoying time with family and friends.
